The Story: Ratchasuda College (มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาลัยราชสุดา) is a part of Mahidol University that was started by HRH Princess Sirindorn to improve the quality of life for disabled people. Thus, the Ratchasuda Foundation (มูลนิธิ ราชสุดา) raises money and support for the college. The campus is located just outside of Bangkok.

Goal: To give higher education opportunities to disabled people and educate all people on how to provide services to the disabled. So they hope to educate both the disabled and able bodied people about how to help those with handicaps lead normal lives.

Projects: In Early March 2009 the college will host a story telling contest for Deaf Students Will Compete in Story Telling Contestdeaf students. These type of events are hosted frequently at the college and often there is a need for volunteers to help facilitate the events. As we hear about them, we’ll share them with you.

Final Word: We didn’t go into great detail about this cause because they do have an English website. The site gives good details on how this project began, but needs to be updated more frequently to give details about upcoming events. See the site for details on how you can donate financially or contribute in other ways.
